Residual current circuit breakers (RCCB) switch off the power supply when dangerously high fault currents occur. In this way, they protect people, animals and equipment. DFS 2 are double-pole residual current circuit breakers for single-phase networks. The large double-level terminals can also accommodate large conductor cross-sections. The tripped
position of the multi-function switch toggle facilitates troubleshooting. Type A breakers are pulse and AC current sensitive. This function is independent of mains voltage. Residual current circuit-breakers in KV design (KV for short-time delayed) are considerably less sensitive to short-time pulsed surge and fault currents. They thus increase
system availability. The additional protection (personal protection) is retained. The short-time delayed switches can therefore be used instead of a standard switch without any problems.
