Step tap for metric cable glands, step tap made of the best oil-hardened tool steel for the most common metric cable glands. Suitable for work in plastic and metal, also stainless steel, 5 to 6 threads per step, drive via hexagonal shank (e.g. by ring, open-end or socket wrench). The M12-M32 tap (No. 20 1240) covers about 85 % of all cable glands,
the other two taps together cover about 90 % of all cable glands. Compared to several single taps, the step taps offer a price advantage of up to 25%.
