3M Backing pad Cubitron 125 mm/M14 ribbed, very hard

The 3M high-performance backing pad has been specially developed for 3M Cubitron II fiber discs for optimum power transmission and increased grinding performance. The ribbed, very hard and inflexible version is ideal for processing flat surfaces, removing weld seams or chamfering weld edges. Fiber discs in grit sizes 36+ and 60+ cover these typical
applications often on structural steels when stock removal is the main focus. The special feature lies in the unique, spherical design with impact ribs , which by design always allow the grinding force to act on a material point, where the precision grain leads to maximum chip removal.
