Not only dangerous grease fires can be reliably smothered when used properly. GLORIA extinguishing blankets are also used in the private and commercial sector, in large kitchens, canteens, fast food outlets and restaurants.

For kitchen operations with deep fryers up to 50l capacity, the DGUV (rule GUV-R111) regulates the use of at least one
fire extinguisher with proven suitability for extinguishing cooking oil and cooking fat fires with a preferred capacity of 6l to be kept on hand.

It is recommended to practice the use of a fire blanket as a precaution for emergencies without fire according to the instructions for use. Incorrect handling poses a risk of burns.
