UV and cold resistant cable ties permanent UV irradiation and cold exposure make standard cable ties brittle. After some time, they break under continuous stress. By adding special carbons, the service life of UV-resistant cable ties is increased about tenfold, up to 10 years if used correctly. They are also resistant to cold temperatures down to
