When installed as a device of protection class I, the equipotential bonding takes place via an integrated equipotential bonding plate directly via the DIN rail, which is to be connected to the building equipotential bonding via corresponding contacting terminals.

The module is protected against direct contact by a cover. With assembly in
protection-isolated distributors the protection class II remains thus. For this purpose, the equipotential bonding spring must be removed.
