The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin indicates that this electrical or electronic device must not be disposed of in household waste at the end of its service life, but must be collected separately by the end user.

Free collection points for waste electrical equipment, as well as any additional drop-off points for the reuse of devices, are available near you. You can obtain addresses from your local city or municipal administration.

As a distributor of electrical and electronic equipment, we are obliged to take back old electrical and electronic devices free of charge.

You can also return waste electrical equipment free of charge by post, although any applicable dangerous goods regulations must be observed. For returns, we will provide you with a free return label (info@wetec.de or Tel. 02196-97562-0).

The waste electrical equipment can be returned to the following address:

Wetec Werkzeughandel und technischer Bedarf GmbH & Co. KG

Disposal of Waste Batteries / Information on the Battery Act

Symbol crossed-out wheeled bin battery

Under this symbol, the following markings may additionally appear, indicating the presence of certain substances:

  • Pb = battery contains more than 0.004% lead by mass
  • Cd = battery contains more than 0.002% cadmium by mass
  • Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by mass

You may return used batteries to us or to designated collection points (e.g. public collection facilities in your municipality or retail stores) free of charge.

You may also return batteries by post free of charge, although any applicable dangerous goods regulations must be observed. For returns, we will provide you with a free return label (info@wetec.de or Tel. 02196-97562-0).

Please send waste batteries to the following address:

Wetec Werkzeughandel und technischer Bedarf GmbH & Co. KG
