The PCT-100 underheater focuses the hot air at the point where the component to be reworked is located on the printed circuit board. It increases speed and efficiency in thermally demanding applications including lead-free processes. Suitable for SMT and push-through mounting, it uses hot air to preheat the PCB, improving solder joints, process
control and productivity. The PCT-100 underheater increases the heat volume without pushing the temperature values too high. This means that the assembly processes can always be carried out at an appropriate peak temperature without damaging the printed circuit board.
