HMS karabiners are widely used karabiners for the dynamic securing of other climbers. HMS stands for half hitch belay. HMS karabiners are locking karabiners that have a pear-shaped design. This design makes it easier to carry out the half hitch belay. The HMS karabiner in our product range is made from top quality aluminium. Minimum breaking strain 24 kN longitudinal, 8 kN with gate open, 11 kN lateral.
