Lots of light and the fastest set-up time are the core features of the new Aldebaran XLD-C Compact. Like its big brother, the Aldebaran XLD 2-C, the Aldebaran XLD-C Compact is literally an extreme lighting tool: extremely robust, extremely flexible and extremely bright, it is enormously versatile and, above all, can be used quickly.
Thanks to its compact dimensions, it is particularly easy to stow away in the vehicle. The extremely robust housing made of an aluminium-nylon composite not only reliably protects the powerful inner workings, but also ensures an extremely low weight thanks to intelligent lightweight construction. In addition, the light is delivered in a sturdy transport bag that offers additional protection. This makes assembly and disassembly quick, easy and safe.
The Aldebaran XLD-C Compact is supplied with a mounting sleeve for standard spigots. This can be inserted into the luminaire from above or below using a quick-release fastener. This makes it easy to operate the XLD-C Compact either normally or overhead. The mounting sleeve is suitable for spigots according to DIN 14640 and can therefore be attached to any standard tripod. Special pre-positioning discs can be used to further reduce glare, making the XLD-C Compact ideal for use in confined spaces.
Thanks to optional segment switching and a dimming function, the amount of light required can always be adjusted exactly to the need.
A swivelling mounting sleeve is also available as an option. This allows the luminaire to be swivelled in any direction and at any angle.

The Basic version can also be upgraded with optional interchangeable cables with a switch for segmental switching ("SWITCH" supply cable) or with a switch and dimming function ("DIM" supply cable). The supply cables can be easily exchanged via a plug connection underneath the housing.

The Dönges telescopic tripod with air-suspension reaches a height of over 4.75 m when extended, is extremely stable and, thanks to the supplied and easy-to-use bracing set, absolutely stable even at this height. Thanks to the high-quality manufacturing, a long service life is ensured. Thanks to the integrated air-suspension, the emergency personnel and also the equipment are particularly protected. An uncontrolled falling of the poles is effectively prevented. The tripod fits into the standard mounting of most firetrucks. The individually extendable feet easily compensate for uneven ground. All locking mechanisms are easily and safely operated by means of large wing screws, even when wearing gloves. The tubes are clamped using a large-area pressure mechanism which prevents deformation of the individual telescopic tubes. The steel tubes are galvanised or orange painted. The stand can be tied down by means of a captive tensioning strap when folded. A centring piece holds the legs securely together. The tripod can be additionally secured with the bracing set included in the scope of delivery to further increase stability.

Telescopic tripod stainless steel with air damping DIN 14682

Stainless steel does not corrode. Normal, galvanized telescopic tubes cannot be pulled out easily after a short time if they are not cleaned properly. This cannot happen with our stainless steel tripod - not even after many years. In addition, we have provided the mechanism of the tripod with an air-suspension.
