However, the balance has been particularly revised, making it easier to switch between the different functions. The angle of the Pulaski has been adjusted for rocky terrain. The material of the rake has been further hardened. The handle is now made of stronger material and its ergonomics have been adapted to the latest US Forest Service standards.

The head of the innovative "Alaska" consists of five horizontal and six vertical blades that can rotate around the centre axis for better adaptation to the terrain. The head can be locked at a 45° angle, which optimises the impact on the ground and uses the applied energy more efficiently. DIN 14660:2020-06 defines the requirements that a personal protection device must fulfil in order to be used in fire brigade operations.
